Animal-in-Residence is a free studio residency program in Portland, Oregon, geared toward emerging artists working at the dynamic, creative intersection of contemporary art and furry.
Over two weeks, Animal-in-Residence provides studio space, room and board, resources, workshops, and mentorship for resident artists to further develop their creative practice and connect with peers in a supportive environment.
The program emphasizes supporting artists from marginalized and under-represented backgrounds (BIPOC, queer, trans, low-income, rural, etc).
Animal-in-Residence 2024 is made possible by the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) Arts3c grant.
